The Acura ILX is a compact luxury sedan for Honda’s luxury brand Acura. All ILX variants are based upon the ninth-generation Civic Sedan.
The ILX became Acura’s first compact model since the RSX was discontinued after the 2006 model year, and the first compact sedan since the Integra was last produced in 2001. The ILX was also Acura’s first gasoline-electric hybrid vehicle.

The Lexus ES is a series of compact, then mid-size, and later executive car sold by Lexus since 1989. Six generations of the sedan have been introduced to date, each offering V6 engines and the front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. Toyota Camry platform was present in the first five generations of ES, with the sixth generation more closely related to the Avalon. Manual transmissions were offered until 1993, a lower-displacement inline-four engine became an option in Asian markets in 2010, and a gasoline-electric hybrid version was introduced in 2012. The ES was Lexus’ only front-wheel drive vehicle until 1998.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a line of compact executive cars produced by Daimler AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque’s line-up until the A-Class arrived in 1997. The car is built at Mercedes-Benz factories in Bremen, Germany as well as numerous satellite factories in other countries. The first C-Class (W202) sedan was produced on 1 June 1993, and the first of the second generation (W203) rolled off the assembly line on 18 July 2000. The C-Class has been available with a 4Matic (i.e. four-wheel drive) option since 2002. The third generation (W204) was launched in 2007. The latest generation C-Class (W205) came out in 2014.

The Infiniti Q50 is a compact luxury car that replaced the Infiniti G sedan, manufactured by Nissan’s Infiniti luxury brand. The new model debuted at the 2013 North American International Auto Show and went on sale in North America in the third quarter 2013 and in Europe in fourth quarter 2013. A hybrid version is available.
The design of the Q50 continues to follow the designs first shown by the 2009 Infiniti Essence concept and the production 2011 Infiniti M. The Q50 is also the first instance of a hybrid model in Infiniti’s entry-level model. The production was stopped in 2011 for reasons.
The Japanese model is marketed as Skyline only without the Nissan or Infiniti name, although it has Infiniti emblems and is sold at the Nissan dealer.
